We are
pleased to introduce the Lexington Square Helpers Program - a program that
matches young adults interested in work with homeowners interested in their
services. This includes babysitting, being a Mother's Helper, yard work,
raking leaves, odd jobs, etc. Please read the Frequently Asked Questions
below.

1.
What is the helpers program?
The Helpers Program is
an effort to utilize the resources that we have within our subdivision and a way
to make all of our lives easier! We
hope to connect teens and young adults looking for jobs, such as babysitting,
yard work, etc., with people in our subdivision that need work done.
The list will be maintained by a coordinator that you can contact if you
are looking for someone to help out, or if you want to sign up to work.
2.
How do I contact the coordinator to sign up or to find a babysitter or
young helper?
The coordinator is
Christine Popoff. You can find out
her contact information by clicking here. You
can contact her whenever you need a babysitter or young adult helper. She
will be able to provide you with information about the young adults who signed
up, including any information about training or experience that they listed on
their application form.
3.
How do I sign up to be on the Helpers List?
It is easy! Just
complete the Helpers List form, which you can obtain online by clicking
here or by contacting the coordinator, have your parents sign it, and
contact the coordinator. Your name
will be added to the helpers list and will be made available to those
subdivision members who are looking for assistance.
Names and phone numbers will be provided to Lexington Square Subdivision
residents ONLY!
4. Who has access
to the information on the Helpers List?
Only
Lexington Square
residents have access to this information and it is only available through the
Helpers Program coordinator. The information will not be placed online or
made available in subdivision newsletters. You must go through the Helpers
Coordinator in order to receive names and contact information for potential
helpers.
5.
Are there any limits to the services provided?
The Helpers List is
really targeting services such as babysitting, being a mother’s helper, mowing
lawns/yard work, shoveling snow, pet care, and vacation plant care – tasks
that are appropriate for young adults to do.
We do not expect that any helper would be asked to do something he or she
is uncomfortable with or unprepared to do. We
hope that residents would use their discretion when asking for help.
6.
How much do the helpers charge?
The fee for services
should be discussed and agreed upon in advance by both the helper and the person
requesting services.
